Default 2010 IFMAR 1/12 & ISTC World Championships

I know that TC has taken a bit of a downturn but I am surprised to see nothing posted so far.

The race takes place June 27 - July 4th in Burgdorf, Germany.

Can't wait till the action begins. Atsushi has got to be really hungry after Marc's close pass in 2008!!! Should be a great show with lots of new techno goodies popping up in the pits. I wish Masami was running for it again in TC.

Good luck Rick, Josh, Paul and Mike in 1/12th and TC. Do it to it!!!

This year in TC has definitely belonged to Ronald Volker. I predict we see him with a ISTC crown

Good luck everyone!!

TC is Rheinard vs Volker vs Hara.

Don't really think anyone else has got the 'complete package' to be able to challenge them. I think possibly someone (likely Groskamp, Wilck or Moore) could beat one of those, but not all three.

Really hoping Elliott Harper builds on his fantastic 2008 result.

12th I think is a little more open, but Juho has a fantastic chance I think.

Good luck to all the UK guys going especially!!

My guess:

Even if the worlds are in Germany I think Hara Astushi will be the ISTC champ's with the new TCX and the GM power cahin it looks untouchable
In 1/12th I'll bet on Matsukura Naoto with the new Yokomo

I think so too. I have personally made a few bets for him winning over Rheinhard and Hara..

Default 1:12 Scale Power

Since you can choose between rounds and squares this year, what will the US team be running for batteries in 1:12?

Minimum weight is 730g.

I'd go for Li-Po myself, but I'm not exactly IFMAR material.
