If any of you electric guys have a used, not abused, brushless speedo you might want to get rid of, I have a newbie who might be coming and may be interested. See me in the pits.

The setup I have currently ran a 116 spur with a 31 pinion, around a 7.00 FDR but this was with a 10.5 though, I don't have a 10.5 *YET*.
I think Aja was running a 13.5 at the season opener, and was putting down 21 laps with it. I prefer a 6.5 although it can be a handful on the infield.

7.00 is going to be high for the 13.5, I think most people are shooting for 6.50-6.60 on the 10.5. I might be able to bring my spare 10.5 along, and Tory probably has one for sale.

Sam, as far as I know the race is still on. It looks just like last weekend.. we might see some quick showers in the early afternoon, but I wouldn't worry about it. Blue Diamond has some leaf blowers and we can have the track ready to roll in no time.

Well I ran it.. enough said there. When it says open it means open! Cars there (Not bad for the first time out with it) I just need power next time I come, and when I come next time no less then a 10.5 will be installed. Literally I was taking a Sunday stroll through the back straightaway.

Either way great time today, laid back as always. Seeing that 81 entree's 4 heats of nitro sedan, plus 2 each of electric, and dm1-gt plus a class of world gt and novice isn't all that bad for a turn out. Can't wait till I get some more free time off to come back out and race with everyone.

GREAT day of racing guys. I haven't had this much fun racing R/C in a loooong time.

Now I have 6+ gbs of video on my hands. I'll try to process them ASAP and post them here. Yes, I did film the epic battle between Scooby and Eric .

I had an excellent time today racing at Blue Diamond! The program was ran smoothly, the food was great, and the competition was intense. Congrats to all the winners and TQ's!
- Will be back ASAP!

Nice getting to meet some new people and see some familiar faces! It was a blast!

Timmie, awesome battle in the main, and nice 3rd place finish. Look forward to racing with everyone again very soon!

Just wanted to thank everyone for coming out for the race! Everyone appeared to be having a good time - outside of their racing status, myself included. Hope to see everyone, again, real soon!

Great day of racing. Wow, it was hot, humid and hot again.

Today, we saw the best battle ever in 1/10 nitro between Scooby and Eric Jones. People charge admission to see this stuff. Can't wait to see the video.

BTW, who let that fast guy from North Carolina in the house? It was great racing with Timothy again.

Default HOT!...

...everything was hot! the weather, the food and especially the A-MAIN battle between SCOOB and ERIC, 30 minutes of eye candy that brought down the house!!! I'll be looking for the video on that one.

Thanks to the Blue Diamond staff for giving us a "place to race" and doing it in grand fashion! we got rained on twice and on went the show without missing a beat.

Lastly, I didn't know Pete Johnson, but @ the 3rd Annual I'll make sure to dress my rocket in White!

see you guy's before you know it
