Default Yokomo R12

Yokomo is coming with a new 1/12 pan car. The team drivers will attend the worlds in germany with it in the end of this month.
Should reach the shops end of june.

Does anyone have more info or pictures about it?

I red some post talking about the rims. I wonder if they have the same offset comared to the standard.

Awesome. I really like the front-end...effectively a damped anti-roll bar for front suspension. On a smooth track this would be mega.

The rear axle does seem to only fit the new Yokomo wheels with that big offset. But I guess this is still the prototype which will attend the worlds only by the team drivers. I doubt that Yokomo would put it on the market like this. If so, just drop in the R5.1 rear axle & hubs and your done for normal wheels...

Other than that, I really LIKE IT!!!

But we'll see once it is available...

Not sure if it is leagal in the US (Roar). I think ROAR has a sliding Kingpin rule but I'm not sure.

It looks like the bottom and top "a" arm moves....

The HPI RS12 also had double wishbones so ROAR must follow. For World GT it's not legal but than again World GT, what a dumb class.

Cool hopefully I can get one in the States. I don’t like getting things overseas the shipping only costs as much as the kit itself.

And don't forget the Delta Spyder out of the late 80's. It also had double wishbones ánd a mono front shock just like the R12...

Team Trinity built a monoshock front suspension years ago (forgot the name) on one of their 1:12 scale chassis. Though, it seemed to only work on carpet surfaces that were pool table flat.

Yup...and that was essentially a Delta front end that Trinity brought back from the dead.
