Putting bearings in a bushing equipped motor
I decided to go with the Pulse-R motor from Associated as my repayment for my shipping cost, I hope they give me the motor I asked for ( 10 turn double ). Anyway, since this motor comes with bushings, I wanted to know what I need to do to put bearings in it and where can I get the bearings and what the dimensions of the bearings are.
Thanks.
Thanks.

bearings are the same size as bushings. Any good hobby shop should have some.

Just pop them out.....and replace with bearing.
Motor Bearings are 1/8' x 3/8' non-flanged.

When I'm bashing, would it make a big difference if I put bearings in a stock motor? I bought a separate motor for racing but I also bought a practice motor. I'm not gonna do anything to the race motor but would it make a difference on my practice motor?(both stock)

If its just for practice or bashing, there is NO worries about putting bearings in the motor. It won't improve a performance a ton, but it will decrease motor wear and tear enough to make a difference in the longevity of the motor. Lots of people do it.....
