Hi there,

Can the TCX gear diff fit the TC?

Also, can the TA05 gear diff fit the 501X buggy?

Thanks.

I can confirm the TA05 gear diff fits the DB01... if the DB01 runs the same diff as 501X... they should fit...

Not sure what was used to make this work but it looks like these are 3 Racing Diffs on this Phi 09.

Think the 501X pulley is 37t, the same with 416 / 417.

Anyone know where to buy from a secure online shop (preferrably hongkong) the Spec R gear diff for the 417?

Wouldn´t TA05 gear diffs fit? They should in theory. The pulleys are aligned in a similar way (both pulleys on the same side of the spur gear).

Hi there. Looking to order for my t3. New to EP.

Any suggestions for setup?

Do I run in both front and rear? Or just one or the other?

Thanks.

Geez its hard to keep the oil from leaking on my spec r put Silicon on it and its still leaking at the pulley.. what are some of the sure fire ways to keep this thing from leaking.. from the pulley.

I have not put too much oil in it.. its kinda thick well for the rear.. 2000K..

The silicone set and when turning each end with my hands its leaking.. bloody thing. not leaking as much as with no silicone but still leaks..

It seems a bit hit and miss.. some ppl are saying they just put the thing together no silicone no sanding and no leaks.. WTF. wish I was in that boat.. the amount of times I have built this to get it right and not leak is crazy..

I know they leak a little.. like my NT1 but this is too much leaking.

Are you using the new gasket and the new X-rings?

All my Spec-R geardiffs are almost not leaking at all. I sand the back of the gears (all of them), and when I tighten the screws, I do it in a cross-pattern, in order to get the pulley down evenly. I noticed the first time (when not cross-tightening) that the pulley wasn't sitting evenly.
