Default Nova Plugs in Picco Engines?

Not sure if im correct, but a mate once told me that you can put a picco plug in a novarossi engine, but you CANNOT put novarossi plug in a picco engine, or maybe its the other way around, has anyone got any thoughts on this?

your friend is correct. Using nova plugs in picco engines eventually damages the underhead.

They will thread in but they will not seal on the lower portion of the head. The threads are the same pitch but the taper that seals to the actual combustion chamber is different the Picco has a sharper angle and the Nova is wider.

Try the O'Donnel plugs in your picco. I have been runnning a 77T Odonnel in my .12 Picco for 6 weekends now, and the plug still looks/works perfectly. They are also 1/3 the price of a Nova or Picoo plug.

For whatever reason, Nova plugs WILL leak in non Nova motors but most other plugs in Nova motors work fine. Since Nova plugs have gone down the drain in the last couple years, there is no reason to use them in anything anymore.

+1 ... top value ... using them in my mega (picco base) and in STS (nova base)
