Remember: The same springs on a heavier car will act softer than they will if they are on a lighter car... that could explain the "squirly" feel you experienced

Hey Randy I was thinking the same thing it has been quiet in here Anyway I little info on me I went mod at the local track for the first time this last weekend tried both a 10x1 and a novak brushless ss58000 I LOVE my brushless but for performance reasons I think I am going to have to go for the brushed motors also put in my black belt it is awsome. Next step trying to copy Todds Milling on his Chassis

I have a question I run on a small tight track 100x50 feet a one-way doesn't work but I have heard about spools what do they do exactally and would anyone sugest running one on a track like the one I run on??? thanks

is your track asphault? I've grown to like running spools. They give you awesome rip coming out of the corners but you loose a little lowspeed steering. But you make some setup adjustments to gain more steering. Check out Todd's thread, he's got an awesome setup from the Reedy race on there for a spool.

yeah I am running on a parking lot track, no one at my local track has ran spools that I know of I would like to try it I think any segestions on what spool to use the only one I have really looked at is the I.R.S one. thanks jkerr

I built mine with steel outdrives and JB Welded them onto a 41 tooth pully. The 41 tooth pully is one of the things that will help you gain turn in with the spool.

I don't see why Losi doesn't make a spool. It would be a lot easier to design and produce one of those than a ball diff or a one-way.
