Droop?
Hey everyone,
What does 'Droop Height: 2.5' mean? Is it 2.5 mm below parallel with the chassis? Why do all the Losi setup sheets (that I've seen) list droop like this instead of using the standard 'Droop: 5'
Am I completely misunderstanding this? If someone could shed some light on it, it would be appreciated.

Most of the time they are referring to the setting on the droop guage... IE, 2.5 mm different between the bottom plane of the chassis and the bottom of the set-screw boss...

Thanks. I kinda guessed that as soon as I posted the question, but appreciate you clarification.
Also, are there two different purple springs? The ones that came with the kit seem to be quite a bit different in color (darker), but lighter in compression then the purples I bought today (20.0) lbs.
What's the deal?

Supposedly the only difference is the color... apparently the powder-coater used the wrong color and instead of denying (throwing away) the entire batch, they decided to just use them....

just wondering, i have the XXX-s RTR, does the black belt kit fit on it and if so, where can i find one because i'm in the middle of a tear down and clean. i want to try this out

Been able to find those TRF red dampers Randy? Everywhere ive looked are out of stock
