Losi XXX-S

Hey Bill, I found the problem on the Lossi
So for all that dont know, 99% of the ppl here lol, For this past few races my steering had been twitching. We thought it was the motor and we switched that and the twitched got much less but was still there. So I thought some wires might be touching the chassis so i taped up all the wires, still twitched. So after a process of elimination i found it was the receiver's position, or at least I've found out how to stop the glitch.
this is the way I had the Receiver set forever.
Setup #1
Tried this
Setup #2
still twiched
than this worked.
Setup #3
Any one else have this prob with JR receiver or Losi's.
PS those are my practice batteries so dont make fun, LMAO.

I have my reciever flat on the chassis and havent had any problems yet. I do see a lot of people standing it up, which I can see helping if you have a glitch problem, but you may also want to check the crystals, after a number of hits they can go soft from my experience, and standing up the RX will only be a temp. fix.

I always run a piece of fuel tubing on the antenna wire up to the point it goes into either the antenna mount or directly into the tube. This keeps the wire from touching the chassis, so far so good for me.

Yea I did try that also. Someone said to try that before anything.

John,
Try using two layers of servo tape under the speed control and the receiver. Make sure you have heat shrink tubing over the wire connetion to the deans plugs. Also, DO NOT run you ESC wires ovet the motor, place them in the supplied channel.

I know a lot of people swear by the synthisized modules and receivers, but I've heard so many people that have had nothing but problems with them glitching.

If I think I can get a good price on Ebay for it, I might sell it.
