GM3 is a Trinity Green Machine 3 stock motor, it's the stock motor that produces the most RPM's.

Unfortunately, everyone has to use the same Corally Stock Motor ...

Is there anything that can be done to such sealed stock motors to go faster?

Has anyone ever tried to have a final gearing ratio of 4.5 - 5.0 on the LOSI XXX-S ?

ive never geared a motor like that but i cant see why you shouldnt be able to. you may have to put on a smaller spur though.

Hey guys...

Who makes the best aluminum castor blocks for the xxx-s? What's the degree on the stock blocks?

Where can I find the internal gear ratio of the xxx-s? (so I can figure roll-out).

I've had mine for 1.5 months and only broke a castor block. Then again I don't hit much...

what spur and pinion did you use for a 23 turn motor? How's your XXX-S in terms of durability?

Gear ratio is 1.83 with the stock pully.
1.78 with the smaller 41 pulley

The LOSI XXX-S comes with 2 identical pullies (front and rear) and an optional smaller pulley.

Where should the smaller pulley be used? Front or rear?

The smaller pulley can be used in both ends to tune the handling. It says what difference it makes in the instructions
I run my car overdriven.

Just for suggestions ...

What do you think will be a good setup of shock oil and spring hardness (front and rear) for a smooth large asphalt track outdoors with a mixture of corners and long straights ?

OBY-Remember to take the turns a bit wider that you would if you were on a tight indoor track. I raced at a track 2 weeks ago that was 150' x 90' with 15' lanes. I dove in tight in every corner ( I usually race on a tight indoor track) and would lose tons of time every time.
