Thanks for the response. Due to tire costs I am going to work on adjusting the setup and keep the compound the same, cheaper that way. money's alittle tight since I bought two 3300 GPs and I would have to buy the castor blocks anyway.

I picked up some 4 degree graphite (no regular material?) castor blocks today, graphite ones, so I am going to install those puppies and see how my car handles with those changes. Probably have to go to 0 degree front kickup but I am gonna see how it runs first before doing all that wrenching.

I found my car easier to drive with the 4 degree blocks on (0 degree kickup) and as they are an option tuning item I think they only come in graphite.
How do you find the GP3300? I was thinking about getting some or maybe waiting for the new Sanyo 3300HV cells to come out

go to www.promatchracing.com They sell the GP3300 and say they are the best pack out there, better than even the current HVs and cheaper too. I got my GP3300 packs for 35.99 a pack. Great prices and they stand behind there cells, 30 days no questions asked return policy, 6 months no dead cell guarentee.

Thanks for the info on the castor blocks, i am looking forward to running them this weekend.

hey guys

with the talk about 4* castor blocks and 0f kick up blocks. I have found that 2*blocks and a 2f kickup mount is smoother driving and steers just as well on carpet. i havent tried 0* block and a 4f block but that time may come.

3300 - world class has them, smc has them, promatch has them, and trinity has them to my knowledge

BrianJ-Drop me a line at team losi. My email addy is [email protected]. I have all my setups stored in my computer at work. As soon as I get your email I will send you my starting setup for Octoberfast.

shrekair-I have found the same with more kick on my car.

rainblows-On carpet with foam tires we have found that the new offset rear end helps the car initiate the turn faster and gives you more onpower steering. On asphalt/rubber tires we have seen that it helps the car initiate the turn and gives more traction on the exit of the turn. Its weird that it works somewhat the same but different on the two track/ tire surfaces.

Default new shock towers

For all who've asked:

The shock towers are just about ready for production. The rear needs a little more material to strengthen it up a touch in some spots and some slight adjustments on the front and we're ready to roll. Still hoping to have a batch by the OctoberFAST race and it looks good for that. Pricing will be around $15 for the front tower and $18 for the rear tower.

If you are not sure what I'm talking about, prototype illustrations can be found here, http://home.attbi.com/~teamprp/xxxstowers.html

Best!
