Clint- Things are pretty good in the NW. The summer racing is on the slow side as we do not have any good pavement programs in the area. So I have been doing a little off-road racing and taking it easy. I am looking at taking a month or so break to get re-energized for the carpet season.

Cool! Thanks everyone for all the diff adjustment tips. Had my first track time with the XXX-S last night and it cornered like it was on rails!

XXX TC3-S
Drew,
I would love to see a XXXS suspension system with the complete TC3 drivetrain. That would be an interesting prototype. I looked into doing one, but there are some interference problems with where the motor mount is in the TC3 and where the front hingepin blocks are in the rear of the Losi. PLus about a thousand more things I havent discovered in making a prototype-I am sure.
Good luck,
Ray

drew,
to do what your talkign about you need machined bulkheads. its something were looking into but its not a cheap project. u could save money and buy a hara pro3. that expensive. if u do try to machine ur own bulkheads, you would want to make the top deck vertical not horizontal. the pro3 is horozontal, the kawada sv10 is vertical. good luck

Guys- Even if you do re-invent the wheel it is still going to be round. I think that the time and money would be better spent on getting the most out of the current chassis that is out there. Gust my 2 cents.

Ya I shoudl spend the money other places but I really love making things. I have made xxx-4 before and it works really well. As for the bulk heads I am going to use the top plate and just cut off the bottom. The attach the top to the chassie or something like that I will show you in pics if I start the project. From start to finish

AE- Yes I race for Axiom. I have run them for a couple of years(since the company started) and have had great luck. As for getting on the team you will have to contact Dave the owner/team manager and I have no clue as to what he is looking for as far as picking people up.

you need a couple of good hex wrench for easier assembling
and read the menu carefully before you start building, losi has an online menu for the xxxs so it might be a good idea for you to take a look while you are waiting for your car, all you need to know is in the menu~
good luck with your new car
