the diff vs oneway thing is simple.

myself and every other pro driver run the one way with rubber tires and the diff with foam tires......ALWAYS...

you must set your car up so it handles with the one way if you want to be fast, period.....

with foams there is so much traction that a one way isnt needed and will make your car too twitchy.....

but, when a new car just comes out and a oneway isnt available there are things you can do to the car to make it pretty competitive, but the one way is always faster with rubber....

hope this puts that depate to rest.....

Aluminum screw kit

Guys,

would there be interest in a complete aluminum screw kit for the XXX-S in let's say red, blue and silver?
It would include all screws on the car (also the ones that you are missing if you buy the TC3 screw kit) and would only be slightly more expensive.

If you are interested, go to my site and send me a quick e-mail,please
The response will give me an idea about feasability.

Thanks

What's your setup for SoCal? A lot of the TC3 drivers there run a sway bar up front - you ever try it with the XXX-S?

I ran my XXX-S at SoCal on Saturday and ran pretty close to the stock setup with a 4mm ride height - I also experienced better lap times with the XXX-S than with the TC3.

Thanks,

do not listen to BLAZN420, he got it all wrong. you can use the one-way even with foams. it all depends on all other factors. if it feels twitchy, you can adjust toe, springs, oil, etc. btw, the track layout is also a point to condsider.

those in the racing circuit should know... just a tip for fellow xxx-s racers

I will agree for mod foam on carpet, evryone runs a diff in the front, you can see this by looking at setups posted on the net. As far as the one-way for rubber tires, the fast guys around here are split 50/50. No one is dominating with either. So at least around here guys go just as fast with the diff as the guys with the one-way, explain that.

How do stop a car from traction rolling? My set up is basically stock, but with 50w oil all the way around. rear hub spot closet to the wheel. Running on carpet with foam tires and mod>

Stiffen the car up and make sure your ride height is between 4.5mm to 5mm. Increase 50 weight oil to probably 80 weight. We run 80 weight oil white pistons in the front red pistons in the rear and blue springs all the way around and 5mm ride height.

My current carpet set-up with foams has the one-way installed....
There are other guys at the track that are running the front diff.....

I did do a few changes to get the car to calm down......

Our track is a small carpet track(oflin??? ozite copy)....65x36

With 3/4 ran on the oval......... 2 big sweeping corners, one low speed, one high....
With the one-way, I'm able to pass on the inside there around 75% of the time....low or high speed......

I like the one-way, it seems to be more predictable for me......
It did take a little to get used to....NO BRAKE!!!

or if I'm on the inside of someone in a tight corner, lightly tap the brake and turn.....It's not the fastest line, but in traffic, it really helps in the tight section....

I think that panama red (blazin) is correct on the diff with foam thing. At Puyallup we all ran diffs. I did it not because of driveability, but I did not want to chunk my foams the first time I grazed a pipe. With the diff I had no chunks, and there was some hard racing manuvers at that race.
