Whenever I have a glitch problem on my car, the very first thing I do is try a different motor. Nine times out of ten that fixes the problem, especially with the newer motors that have pre-soldered or built-in capacitors.
If the motor is the problem, I just take out the pre-installed caps and solder on the regular ones (like you had to do to every motor back in the "old days" of 2-3 years ago )

here is the skinny on the tires....chris and barry were on yok 139gs.....paul and every one else were on sorex 28(however paul was on 24 sorex in his final main)...the reason the yok tires were better, was due to the fact that the traction was so high that they were more consistent....however they were only faster for one run.....in the sweaper corner pauls car was on two wheels part of the time, due to the tires.....
mdawson...when will we expect them?????

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I'm currently building my XXX-S and it's a blast. I guess the first thing I need to do is get threaded shocks right? Anything else you all would recommend? I heard I should replace the 4 bushings for the steering with 4 bearings of the same size so I skipped package C until I can get those bearings. Do you all recommend this?
Thanks,
Jits

MDawson,
I was on the web site and noticed the following:
XXX-S DELRIN DIFFERENTIAL PLIES which the side bar says is 73T. Isn't the standard 41(Optional gear) 42 stock. If this is the case then won't this change the internal drive ratio?

dont have an answer for that. the description is from CML. sent them an email to clarify what the actual product spec is but i beleive the pulleys are actually 41/42 and not 78 like they have posted.
