EFRA Airbox
Sorry, if this is a silly question, but I will take my chances. Are guys running the EFRA airboxes for any particular reason here in the USA? I know they are required over-seas, however I noticed quite a few guys using them, and its not required here unless your club is in an area where they need to keep noise levels to a minimum. One person mentioned they felt the low end being stronger with it on the car, and no noticely negative effects on the top end...

Lil Paul - not a silly question. I use the INS box amd a 3 chamber pipe (JP 2031) as per our club rules this year. The engine performance seems to be strong throughout the rev range. You'll probably see better fuel mileage with the INS box as well (ie less overall air in at one time, leading to less fuel needed for the same air/fuel ratio).

The newest engines will be designed around these INS-boxes, so the just might perform better with an INS-box.....
