We have had several calls about Power Supplys here at Superior. If any local Florida Racers have spare ones it would be nice to bring them along for some international participants.

All I have to say is, after 20 hours and 1225miles, I'm glad there is a Hooters within walking distance of the hotel!

I just talked to Scotty Ernst, the world famous announcer for this race from www.trackside.com. He said they are just doing setup today, no practice or racing until Saturday.

So is Scotty announcing?

I've heard so much about this guy, but never had the privillage of hearing him "at work". Hopefully he'll be on the video/dvds from the event so we all can hear him do his stuff!

Good luck to everyone, both those competing and those organising it!

OLI

PS, anyone got any photos of what track layout will be? I saw the ones from the pre-worlds and if they are anything to go by there should be some exciting racing!

Went by the track today and it looks real good. Huge, covered drivers stand and I can say the same about the pits. The airplanes taking off and landing are REALLY LOUD. The track layout is very busy. With the exception of the main straight there is only one other straight that is more of a dog leg. They did shorten the track up so it is more electric friendly. It is the same layout for both 12th and TC but the 12th scale will be running it counter clockwise and TC will be running it clockwise.

When driving to the track you can really see how much damage was done and Jorge and the Full Throttle crew have done a great job in getting the place ready to go. Should make for a fun week of racing and I'm sure you will see info on here nightly. The hotel is also sweet for only 50 a night but no high speed internet so the dial up will have to do. The Hooters is even within walking distance!!!!!

Brian Anthony

P.S. Rangulo.....I thought you said bring jackets and that? Heck I haven't even seen 60 deg weather for a month.
