2004 IFMAR ISTC & 1/12th On Road Worlds at Full Throttle Speedway

bigG, does that softare have the latest IFMAR procedures built in, so it will correctly calculate and add the points for the lower Mains, and calculate and add the point for the triple A-Mains, taking the best two out of three?
Autoscore added those features for this event, and they did work in a test race, but something went wrong at the actual event.
As to corrections, with 14 Mains, 13 of which were run twice, and one of which was run three times, the corrections, penalties, etc., were made (by a committee, and had to be signed off on by everyone involved) usually while the next race was going on. There wasn't time to wait until all the updates for one event were completed, before starting the next event.
Piccys.... I think Jarrod will be doing his today. I will as well, after getting some breakfast.

Sure does Mike - even if the rules have been updated - the owner of the sofware would have quickly have added it.
The software was used at IFMAR events in 97, 98 and 99 in both off-road and on-road including 1/12th
see URL=http://www.bbksoftware.com/ifmar98pro10/ressum.htm]here[/URL] for a final listing from one of the events.
(interesting to look at some of the names in B C D mains)
If you are involved in a track/Club you should seriously look at this - my personal opinion is it is one of the best products around.
Latest version even does the commentary.
and no - I am not related to the owner or have any vested interest - I just like to promote a good product!

The first group of 28 images of the Winners and their cars is now posted in the on-road conference at SGRID - item #150, response #98.
They're 800 pixel wide images, so if you have a dial-up connection, it will take a while for all of them to load.

Shane - Call me on Monday and you and I will give you the full scoop on what when down with regards to the media. I can tell you for certian that there were no useful digital files that chould be extrated from the counting system. Almost everything had to be hand tabulated and triple checked and corrected on the mains sheets. Results took over an hour to count up, protests were made, reviewed and the final results had to be confiremd by an IFMAR review.

Jarrod: Nice pic! Those cameras were expensive... I'm still hurting from them, big time.
Thanks again for the pictures and your work at the race.

You can rent them for about $200 a day (roughly). We purchased them, though. The second camera was a last-minute decision that arrived at my door about 30 minutes before Som (the guy in that photo) left for the airport.
