Shane, well from my vantage point it went somethign like this...

The run was just finishing up, Billy was done, but still on the track, he and Barry collided, but Barry was still on the clock, so his car is sitting at the end of the straight, dead stopped. Hodapp , full throttle, still on a hot lap too... well he ran head on with Barry.

Barry and Greg really got the short end of that....

Thats the best of my recollection.... :>

Jarrod is going to post some photo's in a little bit. Check out the photo of my tires. When we had our practice run in the morning, the humiditywas pretty high, and the sun had not dried the track enough. It was crazy, was total drifting.

By about the 7th or 8th heat, the sun was shining on the track ,and it was perfect again.

Thanks for the link. Was having trouble finding it on the sight.

I also want to thank everyone who has been giving updates on this thread. I am sure you have heard it before but I will say it again. All your coverage is greatly appreciated.

Shane,
Thanks again for this great thread. Can't wait to see the dvd you are making. Wish I could have been at Trackside the other day when you were in town for the Hobby show. Keep up the great work.

BTW - I did hear in one of the videos that people were stealing the times posted and if anyone did it again they would no longer post results except to team managers. There maybe more going on than we know and maybe blaming media sources for taking them.
Well put JOOR! That's what I like about you.

Hey Gary where did Rick end up? Did he ever find a good set up? I'm surprised all that testing didn't pay off? I guess MF running his car outside at his home track the whole time payed off huh? Off the subject what do you think about ARC Racing? I was at the track last week. I like it.

I personally know 2 Associated guys and 1 Corally guy that are tired from the last 3 weeks of racing around the world. But 1 of the brits I know did damn good. A final Brasil and A final for PEAK. Good job David you can definetly drive anything good.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow.
I think Rick ended up in the C main. I am sure he wanted to be higher but overall Orion / Peak is well represented in the main. Our Revolution / Vantage V2 motors and V-Max / Powerflo batteries have been awesome all year long and I hope it all pays off in the main!!!

ARC is going to be really good, the owners are super cool and have alot of great ideas for the future. They have helped me out tremendously and I wish them all the best opening a new track.

I have only been at the office Two days all week, SUPER SICK, so I have been relying on this thread for all of my info. If we win the worlds I will be a very busy man!!!!

Well, I've got a series of photos up in item #150 at Starting Grid. Hopefully I've got all the right names to go with the photos. The pictures at the end were taken with the camera literally sitting on the tarmac, shooting the cars as they went by.

Did any one else notice that Billy Easton is running what appears to be a box stock SSG SD and not the SDW that was reported?

Well looks like the event is going to be one heck of a final day.

Good to see that Losi now does not need to scrap the new car and do something else (something hinted at in some early posts).

Would love to get a dvd of this event I bet the racing is killer!

Cool to see HPI put some in the show!

What about the motor that was in Mark Pavidas's car, it looks like an aluminum endbell!
