Default Brake Bias Help

I'm about to put mechanical brakes on my E-buggy to help with motor temps, but I know hardly nothing about brake bias. I plan with starting on 50/50, so that the handling is the same as it iswith the motor brakes. I'm wondering what changes affect handling, more front over back and vise versa. The buggy is a Hot Bodies Ve8, I'm asking here since Nitro guys will know better.

50/50 is fine, if you put more in the rear, you can lock up the back tires when you brake full which then you can lose control. You dont really want to set more bias to the front, if you lock up the front at full brake you cant turn. I do like a 75 rear 25 front on my buggy because i can choose to lock up the back for a second then slide the corner. Its really all your preference.
