is it bad to have multiple brands?
I have been pretty "loyal" when it comes to Team Associated since I started in January. I will eventually be getting a 1/8 truggy, and I have my eye on the Losi 8T 2.0 RTR and the Hot Bodies D8T.
How many of you guys race multiple brands and how many are strictly stay with one?

LOSI ONLY......I think a part of fun in this hobby, especially racing, is brand loyalty. Everyone at the track represents for the brand that they race with. You can have different brands yes, but like stated you might spend more in parts and other stuff.

Ultimately, it's your hard earned dollar. Spend it how you wish.

Certainly having one brand is easier and can be less costly, but I don't think it should be a deciding factor in what vehicle you buy. If you want to buy a new vehicle that isn't made by the same brand as your others, there is obviously a reason you want to buy that one. I say buy the vehicles you want.

i maintain one mugen buggy. Thats it. But i have parts for a couple of them and several motors, boddies. I also have a good amount of after market parts. It cost alot to keep it in top shape all the time. when i do get a truggy, darn straight it will be a mugen. I mean i have a TON of the parts.
As far as another buggy and extra cars does not make sense to me. I mean, you can only drive one at a time. I like to think of it like college basketball, one great player can take you all the way. Why? because there is only one basketball.
sorry eerrr rambling and such.

I have a Losi buggy and truggy so I can race two classes. It's costs more but if I am going to take a whole day to go race I want to get some good wheel time in too. Same thing with 1/10th scale, I run truck and 2wd there. I don't like sitting around waiting for the next qual or main. I want to be on the drivers stand, that's all I want.
