hitec 7955 for truggy?
Hey guys, I will be building a truggy soon and I was wondering if the hitec 7955 is a good steering servo for a truggy? I have one in my RC8e and its great, but how will it handle in a truggy?
Any other recommendations around $100 appreciated also!

The 7955 will work fine in a truggy.

I run a 7950 in my truggy, but the 7955 is perfect for truggy. If i didnt get my HV servos for 100 each, i would be running the 7955 for both steering and throttle in both cars.

I've got two 7955's in my Truggy, and a third in my box as a spare. Judging by the performance so far, I'm not likely to need the extra one.
More than enough torque, fast enough that I have to use a ton of expo in my radio, and dang near bullet proof. Definitely can't go wrong with them....oh, and the ability to run unregulated Lipo is just icing on the cake.

Bought 3 from an ex rctech member less than $80 each bnib. Started life on an strr-put about 3 gallons on it. Then traded to a losi 8T 2.0 (you know the throttle servo eater) 8+ gallons never once ran a regulator, will snap the wheels with AUTHORITY. Specs unregulated are something like 383 torque at .13 or something like that.
Did swap out the steering last weekend-off power didn't seem just right. Oh and by the way Hitec's customer service is second to none-top notch well respected company. Would definately reccomend. As for the extra $30 for HV-maybe maybe not its your $$$$$$$ I can't complain about the 7955 at all. Beats my old JR's like a redheaded stepchild. Lol
