After loading the disc it says that there are two files on it. One is an application and the other a rar file which i just cant open.

Thanks for suggestion, i just upgraded the fw to 211, and changed the setting.
The track is around 20m straight with very fast right hander, layout alway changes but straight stays same.
Do esc dont go into turbo mode when battery get low ?
I came first in final without boost :P

In USB link package V1.63_110310, downgrade your ESC to V2.0_100518 (Version 2 firmware)
Then downgrade your 2 in 1 box to 101224
Then close USB link package V1.63_110310, and start USB link package V1.63_101224, (ignore the message about upgrading)
Then upgrade your ESC to V3.0_101224
You should try to instal those HW packages next to eachother on your PC (create a seperate folder before you unpack the rar file). This give you the opportunity to go any way you want.
Connect your X12, go easy on the boost/turbo and be very surprised!....
101224 has a total of 46 steps boost/turbo of which 38 boost and 30 turbo, but I run 18-20 boost and 6-9 turbo, and nothing more!
Turbo start RPM: 6000
Turbo slope: 450 - 600 rpm/step
Turbo delay: 0.4s
Something like that.
X12 with 4 dots insert.

HW never officially released a software package with both those versions in it, so they never bothered about back and forward compatibility.

The rest of your setup is what I already have on, thanks again.

Thanks a mil, I will give it a go again later on and see how i fare, just one question, have you tried 0 timing on LRP (0 dots) instead of 4 dots, I run 0 timing with my RS pro to good result but then I have 40 boost and 20 turbo which probably compensate.
The rest of your setup is what I already have on, thanks again.

Ehh, no I never tried 0 timing, because the 4 dots is -10 (endbell) timing, the lowest timing possible on a X12, which will help in gaining punch, let the ESC add timing for speed.

Ok thanks, I edited the quote too.
You see what I mean now about all these differents versions, even you, you mix them

So far
In USB link package V1.63_110310, downgrade your ESC to V2.0_100518 (Version 2 firmware) OK
Then downgrade your 2 in 1 box to 101224 (V1.07 101224) OK
Then close USB link package V1.63_110310, OK and start USB link package V1.63_101224, here problem, where do you get 1124, because on HW ESC setting thread only link to V1.63 (1224) is loading version: V1.63_110105 (ignore the message about upgrading)
Then upgrade your ESC to V3.0_101224 with 110105 downloaded (1224?) there is no V3.0_101224 as an option.
You should try to instal those HW packages next to eachother on your PC (create a seperate folder before you unpack the rar file) I have already. This give you the opportunity to go any way you want.
