I just changed mine back to 1224 too.

What I had to do was use the 310 link software (211 FW), and downgrade the ESC to V1_508_No Timing. Once that is done, downgrade your 2in1 to V1.07-1224. Then un-install the HWLink program, and install the Old HW Link program that has 1224 in the database. (The USB Link software was V1.63_110105)
Then re-hookup your ESC to the 2In1, and do a FW upgrade on the ESC to 1224.

Its a pain in the butt, but 1224 doesnt show up in the newer versions for me.

That's the way, first downgrade your ESC and 2 in 1 box (I mentioned this before some pages back) BUT you don't have to uninstall 310.
What you can do, rename the folder in the program files like in the attached picture, and you can run all of them next to eachother.

M7H : I used two computers at once..hehehe....One with 310 and the other with the old one. Tested 224 just now and yeah it was awesome. Simple set up and smooth acceleration. No need to mingle too much on boost timing and turbo timing. I set mine at low Boost timing and yet it feels punchier. The best part was the motor ran cooler. Thanks mate...

Your welcome.
I just remember, 1224 has 1 more "bug" changing the settings can not be done with a laptop (but do you really care?) I looks like it works, but it will not actually send the changed settings to the ESC.

You should have tried 1224, and also a different FDR, because believe it or not, you would really be the first in the world faster with a 13.5 then a 10.5....

pull it apart very carfully trying not to touch the components especially the cpu and put the hair dryer on it asap .If you allow it to dry on its own it might corrode some of the components on the board and then your basically stuffed .If you have some circuit board cleaner would be good to .NO WD40 or anything with oil in it .No heat gun either as it will be to hot as excessive heat will delete all the factory settings in the flash memory

Laugh no as some of us have done worse in the past your not the first and wont be the last .

Just have fun .

regards Angelo
