Arrow Magnet Zappers

I am in the market for a magnet zapper. I can only find the one from Team 1 RC that is specifically made for the RC hobby industry. Is there any other companies out there that make this product.

Default Hello

I will check out the Integy option WC.

The price is $425 USD plus shipping.

I figure if i charge people $10 to zap their cans i will cover the cost for it in about a month.

If you can get people to pay 10 bucks just for a zapping then you live around some overly competitive idiots. lol

I know people around here that will rebuild a motor (including: zapping, brushes, hood alignment, comm cutting, shimming, and throwing on a dyno) for $15. So if you can get 10 per can.. GO FOR IT!!

Putnam markets the Eric Anderson made zappers....not sure on the price.....I have heard its a quality unit though.

Team 1 has theirs, nice unit, I have one....not very portable though because its VERY heavy and its a power hog (both by design for it to work right). Simply not worth lugging to the track unless its a super big race and you have dedicated power source for it.

Trinity makes a portable self contained zapper. It requires no power and is about the size of 3 VHS tapes stacked on top of each other(dumb example, but it works)....I have of these and its pimp. They cost about $1500...

You'll never get $10 a can.....$2-$3 is the norm....so don't expect much more, unless you have some quality impulse buying idiots in yer neck of the woods.

Later EddieO

I would recommend the Eric Anderson zapper, it's very nice and extremely strong. He posts on rctech.net as EA Motorsports.

Default $10 a can

The price is in Australian dollars. I will also offer a bulk discount

That was just a number i pulled out of my ass. I will do a better research to find the fairest price for all.

Quad mags can be zapped with normal zapper. Each side acts as 1 pole regardless how many segments. We have run up to 10 segments in other motors. I got a trik trax zapper that was about 600 bucks. I can do ceramic mags but not cobalt...those zapper are around 3000 bucks. I will zap mags for free you just send money for shipping to return to you. Send me a pm and ill give ya my addy.

The place I run a lot charges $10 to get your comm cut

It sucks cause the place is the only permanent track in 100 miles...and I have to spend $10 (transit) and two hours to get there. Talk about brutal

Brandon R:

Thanks for you comment, A friend of mine's got a DC motor magnetizer (very old by the way) we always disagree on time needed for a can to charge up!, he says 20 minutes, I say 10 minutes we just don't know and don't have any instructions either.

It should be 15 minutes for the DC. Our shop had one years ago.
