Im having trouble with glow plugs there not lasting long
I guess my question is what is a good glow plug to buy for a Tmaxx and revo both are 2.5 no mods I like to run my cars a bit on the rich side to keep the heat down thanks steve

i would first check your head clearence and what nitro % your using now maybe you are using to much nitro for what the engine`s head clearence is set for and that might be the reason for your plug failure.check with Traxxas to see what nitro content is suggested for that engine with the factory head clearence.

Traxxas recommends 33% nitro, which is what the Traxxas fuel is.

As Roniel stated that the HeadClearance to Nitro maybe incorrect. I personally would add another .10 shim and see how it goes provided that you are going to run the same fuel. I have yet to see a motor blown up when it's too rich that's not to say running too rich does not have it's own share of problems. Too lean is as bad as it gets so you NEED to be very careful when turning that needle clockwise.

If you google it Parris Racing had some great articles on engine tuning. TO me this guy is the grand Daddy of nitro tuning. He explains what to look for in the plugs, tuning bottom and top end, even fuel care.
