T2R was based on the T2 / 2006.

T2R Pro was 08/09 based. They both have pros and cons.

The Pro has the later ideas like long top deck and is much more lipo friendly.
Comes with a plastic spool up front.
But misses out on turn buckles and has the cheaper alloy drive shafts.
I have owned both and prefer the Pro. On asphalt tracks , they are every bit a match for the Carbon Xrays.
