Just got the GQ's delivered and that about rest the case for me! I have tried them all and GQ beats them hands down.
Good grip and low wear with no chunking
What more do you want! A choice of colour perhaps!
LOL....

Most tyres are sold in model shops at 14.99UKP = $26.68 a pair. Other items have the original US and Asian packaging on with a sticker over the $ price. I bought some engine mount crews that had a 2.50 UKP price tage stuck over a $1.99 printed price.
This is the reason i purchase ALL my stuff on the net even something that cost 50 pence!!

I live 150km from the Serpent factory and it's actually cheaper for me to buy a kit in the US or Hong Kong than to buy it locally. That's including shipping, VAT and import tax....
Tyres luckily aren't so bad. I get a set of Enneti's (F+R) for 20 Euro or ~US$24. I've only used those and Ellegi and find theres not much difference in performance, but... Enneti wheels look better. And the price is better since a full set (F+R) of Ellegi costs 30 Euro ~US$36 here.

I can tell you the wear on the GQ's is very low and they take a few laps to seat we noticed. I find I just need to seat them in morning practice a little especially if the track is low abrasion. I ran on a sprayed parking lot track last week which I consider high wear. The one thing I was able to do is start at 58 MM and run a 30 minute main with 2.5 MM left on the rear and the lateral grip stayed. with other tires I usually have to start at 61 or the tire will not make it. front and rear wear was much more even than in the past I also noticed.
PS I've concluded its impossible to break a GQ rim.

Just glad we managed to cut deals for tires. Getting Fast Lap tires for just over $28 a set. They are amazing. They actually did what they said. One full lap more in a 5 min run. Wear rate is excellent too. On par with GQ and miles better than Elligi, Enneti ir Fast Tires.

Didn't they make them in black for awhile ? I wonder why they changed ? Orange is ok but doesn't look as good as black or the white with all paint scheme's. I have use the ellegi's that are pretty decent but the rims are a little weak. The yokomo's are awesome but way to damn exspensive.I am now running the monotuning and whoa dude they are awesome ! But I'm also going to try the twister's and GQ's. I like to be give a fair shot to all brands.
