Default Competing with a Jato 3.3

What would be a good nitro off road that can compete with a Jato 3.3? My brother has one and i want to be able to beat him in a race. We just bash dont do any official racing on a track. Also don't want to spend more than what the jato costs either.

All are fine. I had a 10GT years ago that was a lot of fun. The Ultra LX is 4wd and considerably larger.

They wont come even close to beating a jato. only nitro that will keep up is probably the Losi speed-NT. Only reason i know is because I work at a hobby shop. The jato still might beat it though. If you really wanted to smoke him, get a 4-tec. Only problem with it is that if you hit a pebble, you will be flipping!

that was my point. Can't really beat a jato in a speed race.

On the track?? that is a different story

a gt2 will spank a jato all over the place, the jato needs all kinds of mods to it before it is track ready.

Yeah but he's not racing on a track. And out of those he posted, none of them come close to out running a jato.

yeah a jato 3.3 is a class of its own not really anything to compete as far as speed goes but if you do a backyard track then a rc10gt would be good there a great truck
