uno,
ive found that on average traction surfaces, a nice soft front suspension really helps maintain steering control. just make sure your shocks are up for it.
a soft suspension is a real work out on the shocks, but ive found it great for high speed steering over not quite perfect dirt. most tracks i can throw a bit stiffer springs on the front, but for surfaces that arent quite perfect, soft works great.
i actually dont know what strength my front springs are, they were aftermarket shocks and were on the truck when i got it, but i love em. ive tried a few different ones but keep going back to the original silver ones my truck came with. mind you, the front tires do bounce quite a bit on my truck, but with losi directional somthing or other ribs on the front, the thing will turn on a dime. even on power!
if youre talking about racing strictly on a track, then disreguard my banter. most tracks are smooth enough not to have to soften the springs.

hey Aaron. i just wanted to thank you for the setup. raced today and the truck handled great. id have liked a little bit more slow-med speed turning, but it wasnt anything a blip of the throttle couldnt fix. id imagine i could probibly get more steering with just some radio tuning. thanks again

Hey, what's up Aaron?
I was just flipping through my RCCA today and saw you and Ryan Cavalieri and Adam Drake in a Trinity Fuel ad, and it says that you got 3rd place in the Nitro Maxx Challenge... Well, I just posted to say Congrats!
