did it have the threaded holes at the top of the carrier? If so turn the rod end 90deg from where it is now and use a 5 40 bolt to screw the camber link on. Be sure to use locktite on any thing metal on metal.

odoylrulz - Like Casey said, the mounting holes should be on the top. The aluminum carriers allow the camber link screw to be vertical, so you can change the height of the camber link.
rltanner - Do you know what oils came in the car originally? If the car didn't come with setup information, try contacting VTX and see what they recommend using. It's not very possible to guess what weight oils will be best, there are too many factors.
If you do know what the car came with, or what VTX recommends, pick up some diff oil from a company like OFNA, Kyosho, Mugen, etc. and build them according to the instructions.

It's generally best to run thicker in the center, lighter in the rear, and somewhere between the two in the front. That's pretty common among most cars that I've seen.
You could start with 3K in the front, 5K in the center, and 1K in the rear, but it's just a guess.

No problem, and good luck. Hope that works out for you.

Aaron,
I am struggling on getting my car to turn while on power. I ran the Pro-Series this weekend and the track was blue grooved with a heavy layer of dust on it. I got the car to work pefect with the exception of on power steering. Also what could I do to add off power steering. I am running 3-5-1 in the diffs, 56/30 in the front 56/22.5 in the rear, 3A/3T plate and the short steering ackerman plate. Thanks

gsracer - I run the stock unit in the 8T, and the 3/3 block in buggy only.
Black - Try playing around with droop. More front droop will allow the car to roll more, and that should help it turn. And it won't upset the rest of your car, which you seem pleased with.
What diff oils are you running?

what would you suggest is the top 3 best 21 offroad engines

Wow, that's a tough task. There are a lot of great engines on the market right now.
In no particular order, I would have to say:
- Trinity Adam Drake Platinum Edition (National Champion!)
- O.S. V-Spec (whichever version)
- Novarossi 21-5 and 367 (among the other engines they make)
- RB C6
- Ninja..I think it's the B01A?
Those seem to be the premier racing engines this year.

MMMM C6BB....so damn awesome. I started using one in my 8 about 2 months ago and must say, the C6 plus the 8 is an insane combo as the 8 is quite light. It helps that I used to run stadium truck, otherwise I would be careening off the jumps dangerously, it has SO much pickup, and is just a little slower than the WS7III, but gets to the top speed quicker.

I think the 8IGHT helps any engine look fast.
I've seen the C6 in a few different buggies and they all look like they made very good power.
