Good job at the Nats Aaron. Once again, thanks for your discretion in the semi. Your dad came over in the lane and asked what to do, and I didn't know what to say! lol - "I hope they don't crash" is all I could think. It was a dilemma because you were battling for position, and Cody was on the bubble. You and Cody have raced together for so long, and you both drive pretty clean. I really felt both of you would do the right thing. There wasn't too much the nervous dads in the lane could do at all! hehe - I wish some of the other drivers could at least try to make a passing move before the punt. lol - Say hello to pops for me, and see you at shoot out I guess.

ps.. is there any way to stop the noobs from starting new threads? "Gee, my car won't run, I think I'll start a new thread. dee-dee-dee!" lol

Seal - Haha, I'm glad you're enjoying it. And thanks!

Jatoman - The VZ-R is an on-road engine. O.S. makes great stuff but I don't have any experience with that engine or know anyone who does (I don't do on-road, haha).

Maybe someone who reads this thread will know, or you can always go to the nitro on-road forum.

Paul - Thanks, it was nice to salvage a decent week out of it all. Getting out of the way was no problem, congrats on the good finish! I just started too far back and didn't get a very good start, I spent the rest of the race scrambling for every position I could, and it always seemed like I would catch someone just in time to move out of the way for someone else. Frustrating, but it turned out just fine.

As for all the new threads...this definitely isn't the Grid, haha. I'd love for all threads here to at least be titled something relevant; that's my first battle.

Much better. The V-Spec, in any of its forms, is probably one of the most popular 1/8th scale buggy engines on the market. That pretty much speaks for itself.

Aaron, come on down to SoCal next Friday for some practice and racing. Need to sharpen up those skills before the Shootout!

jatoman - You wouldn't be able to make it fit without a few custom made parts. And I don't think any performance advantage would be worth the extra weight. The 3.3 is a very good engine. Tuned well, your truck should be plenty fast.

killer89 - Now you're just messing with me, haha.

Aaron, I know the team guys probably run much different versions of the Platinium motors.. Do you know how the 'stock' .21 runs?

jatoman - The 3.3 is the largest motor you will be able to put in there that doesn't require any custom fabrication.

New@RC - Will the engine start at all? Will it turn over? Is it getting fuel? Check your instruction manual for specific trouble-shooting options.

Flybywire - We run the same engines that are sold as "Draked", or Drake Modified. I've run those engines in stock configuration, and they're great. Awesome power, good mileage, and the stock carb works very well. Just like pretty much every other engine, you would benefit from some good ceramic bearings (I use the TKO ones) but other than that, they're quite durable.

Do you have any inside info as to when the public will actually see the Losi starter box?
