Tyre additive for older tyres ??
Hi there. Ive alot of sets of Sorex, Sweep & MM wheels/tyres that I was given.
They all have lost most of their grip- which is why there were given away I guess. As is they are unusable.
They arnt noticibly worn, just no grip.(My new sorex are fine)
Is there any additive I could apply to at least use them for practice tyres ?
I was told tyre additive only lasts for 3minutes, is this true ??
If not , I'll just cut them open to reuse the inners.
Thanks

1, clean them with "Simple Green" or similar
2, apply FX2 and leave them for a while (couple hrs), or heat them up with warmers (10-20mins)
this should bring them back to life.
(also check that the tyres are still glued well to the rim, as I fould the bond tends to get "loose/brittle" if they have not been used for a while)
