Perhaps, but we raced 1/12 at WCRC this past Tuesday, maybe it'll pick up.

I just ordered up myself a BMI Copperhead 12 from my local hobby shop. As far as I know I'm the first guy in North Dakota to own a BMI, so I might need all y'alls help in setting this baby up.

What's a good body to use these days?

We have a 70x24 ozite track. Any tips to get me going will be much appreciated.

Yes you can. Just give a call in to the shop and we will take care of you.

I did alot of testing today with the new front end. It went extremely well. It is really difficult to explain the difference in feel against the strut front end. They both have alot of steering. The new front end just felt more predictable. Very precise feel and Flows through corners without slowing down. I have a few slight mods to make but then i will be going into production. Our front end requires more caster than the strut front end so i will be changing from the standard 2,4,and 6 degree static caster adjustments to 4,6, and 8 degrees, maybe even 6, 8 and 10. I will keep you posted on the final pics and release date.

Report from Australia,

We just got back from ACT EP on-road title held at Canberra (Capital city).
It’s the only major carpet race around our state, and BMI boys had great result.

Day 1 Friday Practice: Andy M takes the fastest lap; I got 3rd fastest and most consistent laps in 12th scale mod running BMI Copperhead.

Day2 Saturday Qualifying: Andy takes win on all 4 races to take TQ. I went down hill after taking 2nd on first run then ending up down in 6th position by the end of the day.

Day3 Sunday Qualifying / Finals: Weird problem happened on 5th qualifying round, Andy’s right rear pod screws all came out. When I say all, two top screws, two bottom screws and one side screw all gone. Also on same race I lost screw out of caster block, yes long one sits inside of lower arm. Sabotage? Maybe but highly drought it. Strange thing happens. After the race we’ve checked every single nut & bolts and no other parts where loose.
I’ve bounce back on last qualifying race to 4th over all.
3 BMI made A-main (2 Copperhead and 1 DB12RR)
In first A-main Andy got penalty for jump start and end up in 2nd but comes back strong to take 2nd & 3rd A-main to take a win! I came 4th over all.

We are very happy with result and our cars and looking forward to see new front end.

That is great news buddy. Congrats to you guys for such a great showing for BMI. Losing the screws is really a bummer but glad to see you guys get things taken care of and then come with super strong results. That is really awesome buddy. Thanks for the results.
