Is there a general rule like shift in the curve, short after the curve etc.? How should be the step between the first and the second gear.

thx.
Usually a 7 millimeter split front to rear is standard i.e, (69mm front, 76mm rear). A soft front and harder rear in tire compound is also standard, i.e (32 front, 35 rear), this usually help keep the split the same during tire wear. Tire size and ride height i.e, (6mm front, 7mm rear) depend on the surface you are racing on, i.e (bumpy, abrasive, smooth). The 2 speed settings vary, this also depend on track size and track lay out. The car should accelerate from start to finish and not over rev before the end of a lane. This can be very tricky, start with an early shift point then tighten to your liking. Stock gearing i.e, (49/16, 46/20) is a good starting point, you can find tune according to your style of driving, track size and lay out. The numbers used are not a definite, situations may vary and call for a different starting point.

first of all there was only maybe 8 mugen drivers attending the race out 150 drivers or so. No Mugen factory team driver attended. The team is heading in another direction Im sure. The results were not that bad for as little there was of the mugen drivers attending this awesome and most competitive race all year in the USA.. Yes I think the results should have been a little better than they apeard even with those Mugen drivers that attend, but crap happen at this race I am only speaking for me at least, brain farted I guess.. The cars are good that is not the issue. The Team that are winning are good teams that help each other and stick together with NO team drama.
