Im not sure if they are cvd or dogbones, they have a pin on the end that just rides in a u shaped cup that is attacthed to the diff.

Grease on CVD's is imo not right unless you have specific boots to keep said grease clean and or using a dry file lube of some sort.....Dirty grease isn't helping the wear factor when you have grit and grime mixed in with the grease....its basically like sandpaper to the CVD.

Pretty much any automotive chassis grease will do for the ring gears. I use Mobil1 just because it's what I keep on hand for automotive use anyway; but again, any will do.
