The newer style truggy bodies are dope, I love them. I dont like those old 1960 truck bodies. It had nothing to do with pros running them. Losi designed and released pic of the body before we got to see the truck. It was soooooooo popular that all the other manufactors copied.

We can always go back to the Losi JRXT days.

The sad thing is... as ugly as that is, I prefer it to the Losi body and clones thereof.

+1 I agree. I think the new body style looks more like a real truck than the old school truggy bodies ever did. They also look much better on the trucks than the old school bodies. That's not to even mention the performance advantages. The only downside to me is the need for a big a$$ hole in the roof for a fuel gun.

I also agree about the D8T body. It looks like they took a sheet of lexan and melted it over the truck.

Default DOMIT- body image issues

DOMIT,
I agree with the sperm thing---hate it. The j-concepts body looks very similar to your stock one. You're right about stock bods. being crap, I destroid my x1 crt bod. inside of 3 gallons! Then I only ran Proline crowd-pleasers on it. I run the x2 crt now I ONLY run the SHIFT on it. All the P.L. shifts look great to me, but I don't think they offer one for you yet

You know... I actually REALLY like the way those look. I might get one to play around with...

But... truggy is what I plan to run primarily. I just need make it look like a truck.

(I think you've seen my current body... it looks like a truck... but it isn't exactly performance oriented!)

Yep I've seen your creation. It doesn't look too bad going around the track, but like you said, I'm sure it's limiting performance some.

I think Mugen MBX5T bodies are a direct fit onto the XRAY truck. You might be able to find one that you like.

On a side note, SC's really are fun to play with. They have been the most popular class every weekend at out indoor track here this year. Lots of good racing, and they look cool as hell going around the track.
