Oh good catch. I think platgof of is using them inside if the shocks though which shouldn't affect up-travel

gregerl, that is correct on the placement. There is no way I want my pistons to ride above the shock body. I also added steel washers at the top of the shock mounts to stop the wear on the shock towers, and it is holding up very well. These things were grinding down fast before I added the washers. My next project will be to add some type of bumper to keep it from getting stuck on the front end, something that can help it slide. I may make it from stainless steel.

Aluminum or CF steering rack
Aluminum RF hanger
CF/aluminum shock towers
Add spider gears to the gear diff. The RTR comes with only one cross. TD310003/TD310002/TD709002
Replace the O-Rings with TD330099

Nice to have:
Camber rack for the rear gearbox. Either tresrey or sumo
Replace the servo
Replace the radio
Broke the RF hanger at the track this weekend, good thing I have one on order already. Thanks for the heads up.

No, I did not. All my paint is done by Emil. ProblemChildRac is his user name on here. He is on the east coast but has a good turnaround time and he does amazing work.

Here is 2 other bodies I had him do as well.

That's one thing I replaced was the radio. Im using my Spectum DX3c to control the car.
The stock brushless system performs just fine to me. Im usually racing against
buggies that have a 10.5 or higher motor thou. I was only a lap slower than they were.

I would say it's the 8-Racing +8mm carbon chassis http://www.tsrproducts.com/index.php...210-mc8v2.html

That's not an Exotek. Theirs has a separate nose that bolts into a flat chassis. This one has the kick built in.

EKT is correct it's the 8-Racing chassis. I'm into my second race season with this chassis. This thing has held up great. I bought direct from 8-Racing out of Germany.

I've ordered the lowered shock from Diggety Designs and filed my existing rear hangar down just to try it and it seems to help, so I'm trying to figure out which one to buy, I'd like to get the TD one, but can only seem to find it on TD.com and don't want to pay the $65 shipping, anyway, I'm rambling on...

What chassis are you running, have you tried any of the after market chassis's?

I got a lrc rr 0 kick up 3 toe my rf is tresrey 1.5 kick up 3 toe I adjust at the hubs... My desc210 I figured would benefit from the lower rear tower more but the shocks wont let the chassis touch by about 5mm not sure about the buggy tho I've never needed more down travel I've always used some droop
