Do you have the plastic or alloy hexes? The alloy hexes fixed the issue for me.

If you put .1-.3mm of 5mm ID shims on the axles (depending on what hubs you have) it wil fix the issue. The shims act as a crush tube between the step on tha axle and the race of the outer bearing.

Ok, I am FINALLY pulling the trigger and buying a DEX210. It's lightly used (6 race weekends) and was in the hands of a former TD team driver. I haven't seen it yet as I'm still saving up what I need to actually buy it but I know this seller very well so I'm not terribly concerned about it's condition.

So assuming that he stuck with mostly stock parts, are there any considerations I should make with some after market upgrades? I'm open to either quality of life or performance suggestions.

Judging from your signature I'm guessing you will be running stock. A lot of people pick up the DIMEC chassis to make their cars lighter/give more flex.
I would recommend aluminium RF suspension holders for a durability increase, though the plastic ones will hold up fine if you don't crash too often
A carbon or aluminium steering rack is recommended too, but being a team drivers car he probably already has one.
A small thing to upgrade is the battery thumb nuts, the stock plastic ones can be a pain when you're in a hurry.

Aluminum rear hubs would be a recommended upgrade as well. Not only will it add strength, but with the camber link mounting on top of the hub instead of from the side will actually provide more consistent camber action and the added weight will help keep pressure on the wheels in the right spot.

Finally built and raced my DEX210. These things are a blast to drive and handle excellent. Can't wait to finish dialing it in.

Alloy thumbscrews are definitely nice, but if you're looking to put the car on a diet you can run an m3x.5mm tap through the stock plastic ones. Makes them thread just as easy as alloy ones do. My stock sc still rocks alot of plastic for just that reason.

Looking at the pictures, looks like they are only for RM configs. *edited Should have read the item description, does say it there.

The Stainless ones I make are much stronger, plus I offer one for the front as well. Just ask, many people have bought mine on this thread....

Many people have been asking on the difference between the small and large rear plate. So I included some pics. I also have a plate that takes care of the RM and MM configuration. I can custom make pretty much any configuration you would like. Any questions please PM me. Thanks....

I'm using BMan's front and rear plates(large) on both my DESC210 and DEX210and they work excellent. The layout we are running right now has a high speed sweeper that transitions to a fast jump into the face of a short table top. There is no other way to get through that section other than slamming the face of the jump so it pops you up over the table top. I would be afraid to hit that section without the braces.
