I understand the need to be different, but why did Durango go with 14mm hexes when the rest of the industry is now using 12mm? Hopefully someone will come out with some kind of adaptor, LHS doesn't usually stock Durango parts so getting Losi or AE hex rims will be alot easier than myself stocking up on Durango rims. Wait, maybe that's why they did it, so I would have to stock up on rims
Guys trust me the larger hexes are needed. I've stripped out wheels before at the 12mm size. Especially fronts on the 4wd on high bite tracks. Understand that this car is designed at the world level, not just U.S. If you've ever driven on turf the bite they get is phenomenal.
Also the larger hex should help prevent wobbling and offers a larger mating face to the wheel.

I used to run Corally sedans and we had the snap rings on the diffs. First couple times you struggle but once you get the feel for the clips they're easy to work with.

Time to take it apart, post some pics of all the parts layed out please.
This is a simple diff to build. There is only one loose shim that could be missed. IF trimming the outdrive "nub" helped then the thrust assembly isn't full seated.

As for the wheelbase, the car was designed around world distribution first, but I suspect they will address the longer wheelbase for US tracks relatively soon.

I will have my 210 this Tueday. I should have just paid the $20 to get it faster. oh well its giving me time to read all the tips. I haven't drove a 2 wheel drive buggy since 1993. I still need to buy tires. What would be a good tire for a high bite clay track?
(I don't use Jcon tires a lot)

The rm4 will likely offer about as much rear bite as you can get in a 2wd car. The problem is keeping enough on power steering to make it really useful. I talked to Fischer today and he really likes the rm3 setup the best.
