Just ordered some from nankin hobby . Hope they keep there stock up to date and don't come back and hit me with a back order . I do like the fact that they take paypal.
Thanks for the heads up zipperfoot

I can check a few local shops, that have SOME Durango parts. Maybe we'll get lucky.
In a pinch I have seen someone use "other" inserts..by no way am I condoning this..

Those of you running this in stock 17.5 with a shorty, are you guys adding weight to the car?

No weight what so ever. Speedo in the back of the battery box receiver behind servo. Handles great.

exotek weight in the front, shorty all the way back... on rails most nights, as long as I'm not driving dumb. High bite I'd move the pack forward most likely.

It appears you have received several different responses. I have a shorty mounted forward with 14 gm of weight just in front of the tranny.

It appears you can run the battery back with weight in the front, or forward with weight in the rear. So the answer seems to be yes, add weight.

I have the esc all the way back in the center channel, then had the battery mounted right close to that (reedy shorty) and it handled great. I added the small under servo weight and it got rid of some of the on power push based on my driving style and track so I've kept it in there.

Not sure why you would want to do that, but yes, you can make it fit with a little bit of trimming of the rear section, but it will not fit very tightly. If you want to have a cab forward body on your stock chassis, you would be better off getting an aftermarket body, like from Pro-Line.

In that case, I would recommend the Pro-Line Bulldog body for the DEX210:
http://prolineracing.com/bodies/2012...r-body-dex210/

It will be a much nicer fit than using the +8 body.

Just got a used dex210, and bought all the goodies for it and last night changing the chassis over to a dimec 20 chassis and noticed it has ribbs where tranny bolts on and will not let me use the 0 kick-up and 3 toe in front block. i also noticed how the rear drave shafts are so close to the edge of the outdives when fully extended, is this normal?

Having a strange issue on assembly of the rear suspension, specifically the left side. Links built according to specs, when everything is buttoned up, the driveshaft bottoms out on the diff nut and causes the suspension arm to hang in the up position. This is without the shock in place. Of course with the shock there it pushes the suspension through the resistance. Just wondering if anybody else has had this and if it's a cause for concern?
