I have about 10 or so batteries thru my gear diff but it feels really notchy. This is by holding the slipper shaft and turning one rear wheel. In one tire rotation there is about 6 spots where the notchy feel is.

'In the Pits' says it will feel notchy for a while. But how long do I wait it out?
a gear diff is not a replacement for a ball diff it is simply for rtrs and 4wheel cars not a good option for 2wd clay

I feel the same way. But our track was super bumpy and rutted. Drying it out for a new layout. The ball diff was only lasting 8 batteries at most. And let's face it, getting to the tranny is the worst part of this car. So I figured the gear diff at least wouldn't have to be rebuilt each day.

Umm, yes it is. You must be thinking of non-fluid filled gear diffs to which I would agree.

Default Revolution towers

Are there any reviews on the Revolution Racing aluminum shock towers? They are heavier then carbon & plastic but should be very strong.

Has anyone tried Avid springs with the 210? I just picked up a full set for a good price. If so, what color, oil/piston?

I've tested them on my 17.5.

5x1.3 all around, 35f/32.5r, White front/Yellow rear.

This was my last setup. Track was really bumpy but fast, only one big jump but wasn't a jump that needed pack.

I'm actually going to try running the same shock setup I have on my big bore B4.1 on this car. Really want to see what 2 hole pistons will do.

As far as springs go though, I don't feel you can have enough springs. The more options you have the better setup the car can be. I have AE, Avid, TD, and Losi springs. None of them are the same for the given rates.

They will work, spring rate will vary according to where and what you run on. Here is a chart that may help determine which Avid spring has the closest rate to what you are currently using.

Tried Avid yellow up front, reds in the rear. 1.3 pistons, 35wt in front, 30wt in rear. Felt pretty planted, on outdoor, dirt, dry track. Starting to push the buggy more and more. Very stable. I am beginning to realize this car can handle a lot more than i can deliver. Very happy with the 210. Thanks for the help.
