Use 2.5mm ball driver and try to limit the angle you are putting the driver at.

I seen ur other post to, I run a 78T spur and a 25T pinion. I like it. It's nice and smooth.
The 25T pinion with the 76T spur should be just fine for you. Hope that helps some.
Best thing to do is play with gearing to see where you feel comfortable at. But always keep an eye on temps.

Good luck

Since my local shop does not stock parts I am placing an order for extras and back up parts. What do you guys suggest I stock up on?

I already have extra arms and towers, etc. What else? Axles, shock shafts, hubs, motor plate, gear cover, any of that sort of thing? I don't want to over do it. Just enough to get by until I evaluate the buggy.

Are any of the parts interchangeable with Losi or AE? I already picked up some B4 slipper pads, because those are a direct fit. Anything else swappable?

Sounds like you have the important stuff. I think spare wings are important. May wanna throw in some bearings, shock caps/oring seals, rod ends, spur gears.
Nothing esle is interchangeable with those other buggies.

Hi !

Wrote a couple of days ago about a Ballistic 8.5 that didn`t have either punch nor speed any longer. Was advised to try a new motor so today I tried a new Ballistic 6.5 with 83/21 gearing and no fan on the esc. Temperature outside was +10 celsius.
The car was fast but not uncontrolable and after 4min the esc thermaled and the motor was also very hot, but I could hold my hand on it atleast 15sec.
Do I really need fan on the Xerun 120a esc in a 2wd or is there something wrong with the esc also ?

Nothing solid yet, but I am going to try to catch one of the Supercup races. I have had a great time at everyone I have made the trip down for.

Put the kit together, started to adjust the turnbuckles and three of them kept popping off the ball cups. I pre-threaded them, used some grease before putting them together, installed them on the ball ends once, did not stick anything through the hole when threading them together... really disappointed.

I am going to have to test the buggy with these ball cups on there, but I anticipate turnbuckles popping off for sure.
