no prob.

I run I think a 15g weight up front in that position that is by the servo.

In the nose I have a 65g weight that replaces the bulkhead I could try too but I want to sort rear grip at the next race or practice session. As it sits right now I am looking to try a longer rear link or drop the rear ball stud position down another 1mm shim based on what the Exotek bulkhead offers.

One I sort that and see how grip is, May give that a go.

I am not a fan of advice saying add weight anywhere before recommending trying other things. I'm not saying that it won't work but more weight should never be the first recommendation. Keep in mind that if you are running a balanced wheel rate and pack rate, as you should be, adding weight to the front will require you to rebalance all over again. Anything you do that increases on power steering, decreases off power steering and vice versa.

The nice thing with adding more weight fred is that you can quickly take it off if it doesn't work. Not saying other options may not be better, but in my situation my tuning takes place on a race day, so I have to be prepared to go with changes that are relatively quick to test and confirm.

I see both your points. Fred I always try and balance my wheel rates as well. I was trying to keep as much weight off the front to give me as much rear traction. But since I have done the sideways short mod, rear traction has bee better.
I had the battery as far back as possible. I just moved it about 8 mm forward and going to balance from there and see how that goes. I will add in the weight and balance my springs with that as well. Test both at the track.

Went to the Exotek website and see the Dex210v3 chassis conversion is sold out. Must be a hit if they are all gone.

On the main page:

Hello Racers!
Exotek Racing will be closed for holiday from July 26th-Aug.9th. Sorry for the inconvenience and check back soon.
Thanks!
I'm guessing they aren't taking orders while they're on holiday.

I forgot that they did have a post where they where away for a week or two and then would be back and start taking orders again.

Exotek must be back in as the DEX210 chassis setup is in stock. I need to pull out my car from the end of last year and take a good look at it and see what type of shape its in and then I will decide what I want to run for this year. I will say if I go with the Exotek I'm getting the chassis and the rear bulkhead. Oh many would my Dingo be pretty sick looking car for sure.

+1 I was thinking the same thing, but the Plan B I have works quite well and I am not wanting to be guinea pig on finding out if the exotek works outdoors.

Normally when my car look like that, I would say that money is earmarked for parts. I can't say that this time the old girl holds extremely well
