It's smooth, but you have to run the diff a bit too tight to keep the diff from slipping. Im going to carbides for the main diff balls.

I got the ceramic balls from Acer. They come in 10 packs for $9. I bough 3 so I had enough for 2 diffs and 2 extra because I will loose some.

Has anyone found an aftermarket thrust bearing that works?
BFast has them, and also carbide and ceramic diff balls in sets of 14. About $10 for a sets of carbides.

Does anyone know where to get the circlips? Are they a standard 8mm internal snapring?

I'm loving the DEX210 so far. The build sucked. That will be sorted out over time. The parts quality is very nice. I am running mid motor 4 gear on hard packed clay outside. The car handled great when the track was loose and really hooked up once traction came up. It jumps almost like a dream.

I did have hard landing on a huge jump and broke the rear shock tower. I got two spares in today. I hope that is not going to be an issue. I've heard of others (on the Oople forum) breaking the rear shock tower.

How the heck are you guys breaking your shock towers from "landing hard"? Are you landing on your roofs? or tires?

I got crushed by a Traxxas slash piloted by a eager 10 year old going for a Hot lap. Unfortuantly my Rango was in the way of his short cut.. I now have 2 spares as well.

My Diff is still great. No issues. I was thinking that if you tighten it too much is it possible you are puting too much pressure on the circlip? I know there are specific ways to put it in. I am using stock balls and circlip as well. Did anybody do a apples to apples on the dimensions?

Kain- McMaster Carr has them for about half of what Fastenal charges- $8 for 50 or so.

Mine was just a hard flatland from about 3ft up...tower just snapped. sounds like the rear tower is breaking in pretty much the same place on everyones.
