Thanks jon for the fast reply!
I'll take a look at the car, but maybe it's just better if I wait for the Mi3.

The way I see shock length, as long as it's not limiting your droop and ride height and they are equal on both sides, it should be just fine.

The only "issue" I see is that the shocks are kind of at an angle not bad but at an angle nontheless, just looks wierd, not sure if it affects the performance. I was gonna add some washers to fix that, but it looked to "ghetto" ...that's where I think the pdub ones would solve that issue without looking ghetto
...BTW I though about that after I posted the pics ...an xray pic on the Scheuy thread ...I'm TOAST

I am sure it's all good.
I would put spacers either behind the shock mount (Getto or not) or space the tower to achieve a perfectly vertical shock. JMO

After owning a few tamiya's, I decided to mounted my TRF shocks the same way to my MI2. Just get the 5mm florine coated ball nut (TAM53599), and flourine coated ball stud (TAM53598). The ball nut mounts on the shock tower with a 3mm srew through the back to secure it, use a few spacers to get your shock as verticle as you want ( if you look, actually the MI2 stock mount has some angle to it too). the threaded ball stud has the same threads as stock so all you do is replace the stocker with the 5mm stud. I built my shocks with the included tamiya plastic shock shaft ends (short), and it turns out beautifly. You can get the non-florine coated studs/nut as well to save a few $$, but they sure do make is smooth as silk, plus you get 10 in a pack.

Went and practiced today. Made some progress with the BMi chassis and higher flex top deck setup. I'm still sorting some things out but it's coming a long nicely. Once I get some things I'm confidant with I'll post them up.

I'm back after a mini vacation. Was right down the way from the Norrca nats but didn't feel like going by the track to check things out. I'll be testing my new set up at Ripon next weekend. It was killer at Speedworld.
