Most of us use the TakeOff alloy colored spacers. They are offered from .5mm - 3mm

click here http://www.racing-cars.com/usa/main.asp Then type "washer" in the advance search box and select "TakeOff" in the manufacture field

Default MISSION SETUP

BTW. That setup really helped the car a lot Paul. Unfortunately before we could make 2 laps the rain came down at TQ so i wasnt able to fine tune any. The car felt good even without aditive on the tire. Was a little loose but i expected that since i got there only minutes before my heat started and didnt have time to stickum up. I think the major difference was that i was using a much softer oil than 40 and it made the car to soft. Once i up'ed the oil and use two holes for the shocks instead of three the car felt a lot better. Who would have thunk it because my MI2 rocks with the softer oil but i guess i have to keep in mind that these are two very differnt reacting cars.

Either way thanks again,

Hey guys,

Fairly new to RC and just bought a second hand MI2. Wanted to know a good setup. I'll only be running in 540 and on a concrete surface.

Cheers,

Shags

Paul Wynn's nationals setup would be a good place to start or if you'd like to give me your Email addy, I'll email you my base setup on an excell spreadsheet. It should be a good base setup on most surfaces.

Shags_j

I have the setup we run at Brisbane's bayside track - I'm guessing that's possibly the concrete track you'd be running on? If you want that setup pm me with an e-mail address and I'll send you the setup.

Cheers

Scott
