Are you running a spool? Which cvd's are you running?

No spool just a diff and the steel CVDs. I have never seen CVDs bend this easily. I have seen them bend on other cars but that was usually after one hard impact.

I've got 3 sitting in my box. All with less than 3 or 4 runs on them and they are seriously bent. Yet nothing else broke.

Adam, Is it the actual bone that is bending??

I haven't personally ever seen any of the Steel MIP CVD's bend. This is the main reason they are used in the gas car as they were the strongest driveshaft they could find.

A coupld of things that might be worth thinking about though. Try running a little less steering lock. Personally i actually have a 1- 1.5mm spacter glued onto the hub to ensure a little less lock. This will put less side load on the CVD. ALso it is worth ensuring that they are free moving all the way through the pivoting. Can't see how this would be a problem, but you never know I guess.

Can't think of any other reason. I have used Titanium and Plastic (both weker than steel) and had no problems at all.

I used to go through a plastic one a week, switched to steel and never had a problem. And I through some big motor in there just to have fun with. you my friend have won the prize!

I actually split a metal one where the cross pin goes through the bone. Went back the plastic ones in back and metal up front, and no problems since.

wow, i havent had a problem with the plastic ones yet... but now i have the ti cvd's, so i have an even better feeling about the strength of them...

The worlds are about to begin so i wonder if there is any news about the new shocks?

And are there any other new products in delopment for the Mi2?

New shock will not be ready for the Worlds. Maybe before the Holidays.

The cars are remarkably stock. Most are running a Teemu chassis or a Teemu chassis with a tray.

They are running the rear body mounts on the rear tower...mostly for looks

Other than that you can get everything the team is running right now.

Do you have an picture about that mounting?

Can you tell me what i need to mount them also like that?
and do i need to drill something or?
