I was running a TC3 and kept stripping the front diff gear with any bumb. I went threw the instructions and tried everything i could think of and still kept stripping those gears. So i called AE to see if i could get help and there responed was to not HIT ANYTHING i dont care how good of a driver you are you will hit stuff in a race or qualifier. Then I got an Xray wich is an excellent car but try calling Serpent USA in the past and ask about their bastard step child Xray now with Burch's new set up at Xray USA it might be better. The main reason i got my MI2 was that in Miami no LHS deal with electric so i had to order everything so who better to deal with than the manufacturer whos entier staff race touring cars and could awnser every question you could have about the car.If you are a serious racer and want to win the MI2 is defenatly the car to have XXXkat try it and dont worry what the Mags say since their salaries are paid by advertising

Typical Parts...

Front Arms, Hubs,Steering blocks, I would also get some blades, if your runing the plastic driveshafts, get a set of those too.

That said, I ran my one car, for 4 months, and only broke 1 part , front c hub.

My favorite part of my job is Monday morning when we get all kinds of calls from regular guys that ran their Mi2's for the first time.

"...I went 2/10ths faster than with my (insert brand)..."

" ...At first I was disappointed because it felt slow then I saw my lap times and I was going faster with the Mi2 than with my (insert brand). How can it be so fast and so easy to drive?"

" ...This was the first race this year where I didn't break anything"

" ...After I got my Mi2 I went from middle of the A to top 3 and in the mix for the win every week"

" ...I was faster with my new Mi2 then my (insert brand) that I have been working on for 6 months"

" ...I ran my (insert brand) and my Mi2 back to back. When I got home i put my (insert brand) up on eBay"

It makes up for...

"...I installed my radio in my Menace and when I turn the wheel left the truck goes right...what wrong with this thing" (this is why RTR are better for newbies)

"...I had a little crash and my chassis on my fusion bent into a U" (when he hit a telephone pole at 70mph)

"...I put your setup on my Mi2 and it drives like crap..." (except he didn't have the right springs, shock oil, sway bars so he used what he had and he thought he knew better so he put on his own camber, ride height and droop settings )

"...I just got a Menace and the engine blew up. I only ran it for one tank what are you going to do about it, huh, huh, huh, (I'll send you a call tag so box your truck up and we will fix it for you for free...if its a warranty problem. If not you pay just for the parts. Turns out he was running it in a sand pit with no air filter...DOH! The inside of the engine looked like the inside of a gun metal gray paint can)

The meaner and more rude a person is on the phone (to a point) the nicer I get. Nothing burns up a guy looking for a fight more than getting kindness and good service...lol!

xxxkat--replace your ballcups with RPM ones. no more front chatter. the kit ones will never fall off but they have a little play in them.

Adrian,I used to work at a bicycle shop and the line we used to get was, I was "just riding along and"_________ .. It was like a form letter,I dont mean to sound bitter but in this day and age I thought form fitting your parts was over..

Johnny, I know Steve at Speedtech is finishing up a Ti Screw set, he's just waiting on some odds and ends screws to come back in stock

Default Mi2

We just got ours! Nice to be back with the Schumacher. The car looks great, I like the the aluminum diff holders and the new layshatf supports. I have a habbit of installing things backwards though, and I can't wait to see this one when I'm done...
