I asembled my new Mi4 and did some first testing, using the stock-setup.
The car runs great but sufferes oversteer when comming out of a corner and going on throttle again.
1. Could someone tell in what direction as for stup-changes I have to look.
WHat should I do to get rid of this oversteering?
Please, help me by explaining what happens when going on throttle out of the corner. I thought that the car has too much grip on the front, so that I should look to harden the front suspension (harder spring, thicker oil, harder rollbar, ...) ... but when I think about it: when going on throttle, I should think that the weight is transfered to the back of the car again, and thus grip is reduced on the front ... but that doesn't make sence.
Please explain me in what direction I should think. THX

when assembling the servo, linking it to the steering-parts, i noticed that the ball-end which is mounted on the CF Steering Arm & Mount, touches the servo ... and I use a very normal Ko propo-servo. Is this normal?
I sanded the nut and ball-end-thread down to make it shorter.

Sounds like what you're saying is that the rear of the car starts to break loose when throttle is applied out of a corner. About .5 degree more inboard toe in the rear should fix the problem.
running kit-setup
with front: height: 6, droop: 5
rear: height: 6,5, droop 4
camber all around 1,5
tyres: don't know but they are rubber and shore 27 or 28
track: dusty concrete (but experienced the same problems on a tarmac track.)

Try run 50wt front oil 40wt rear oil blues in front whites in the rear everything else the same as above except neg 2 camber front and rear lmk if it works thanxs joey

are talking about 50wt and 40wt Schum oil? Because I do not have those (Only 30 and 35; ordered 30 in stead of 40 by mistake).
But I do have Losi Oil. Are those similar, are the viscosity-numers alike?

Yes sir all schuie oil and springs not sure bout the difference in brands iam sure all don't use the same rateing system.
JDM is right, there could be variations from one manufacture to another. Stay with one brand and don't mix and match ever!

On the Mi4 will the diff pulleys, spur or center pulley warp if I dye them? Because of the heat of boiling it?

No they won't, I boiled mine. They don't need to be in there very long. Once the dye starts boiling, I turn off the heat and throw the parts in.

What I do is take a big azz pot and use a pie pan on top. So kinda like a buffet where they have the boiling water under the pans to keep the food hot. Same deal but I put water and the dye in the top of the pie crust pan. So you can leave the plastic in there and make sure it gets really soaked in with out worrying about having the plastic parts sitting right above a fire. It works really well with little parts because yo cant loose them LOL.
Hope that makes sense. That how I did my CAT SX pulleys and all that and it worked great!
