It was so easy to drive. Planted everywhere and plenty of steering.

Just for reference . . .

With Marc's old setup before Vegas Marc could turn an 11.6 FL with his 19t.

Today he made us all look like rookies putting everyone (he was the only one not running a 13.5ss) a lap down and running his handout CO27 from vegas. He bettered his own PB by about a lap, and hit a bunch of 11.9's and 12.0's even at the end of 5 minutes.

He might be a little modest, and a good friend for suggesting others had something to do with this setup, but make no doubt . . .That guy can wheel a car!
not all true. I was running a handout co27 also. but he did put me a lap down. Marker's 13.5 killed me in the straight, but I could keep up on the inside.

at our club some guys were running 13.5 against brushed and they were much faster than brushed motors but I'm not sure If that's because of driver or Motor differences ?
Is brushless faster than brushed motors???

brushless is definately faster. depending on the drivers skill level and motor skills, you will see .2 - .6sec faster

Driver's skill being equal the 13.5 BL will almost always be faster then it's brushed counterpart.

I feel at our clubs BL has brought a lot of guys back including myself. It defintely frees up more time to just joke around between rounds :P

Right now I would say the Novak 13.5 is the most accepted and probably has the best manufacturer support in the U.S. But just about everyone is selling some kind of 13.5 stock equivalent.

Maybe Shawn or Adam can shed light on if anything is happening with Speed Passion and their U.S. distribution.

well i gotta say boys and girls - i went .2 faster than my fastest single lap before vegas, but i was consistently .2-3 faster per lap and I had my fastest runs yesterday on our club's vegas layout.

the best i could do before vegas was a low 24 lap pace and yesterday i hit a 25 5:07 and I could have made 26 by cleaning my run up a bit.

i really like my setup that i posted and i looks like it will be a very universal setup for people to run. We will be changing our layout fairly soon, so we will see if this setup carries over to a "non-vegas" track....

as for the 13.5's - novak seems to be the most tried and true motor right now. Soon enough just about everyone will have their own version of "stock" and "19T"

I think these next few months we will see how all this will shake down. I know Tekin is making their Redline brushless motors to meet the specs that Novak submitted to ROAR.

I am hoping to have my R1 and motors before the end of this month, but only time will tell. I like the idea of not having a sensored wire pushing my motors....i think the Tekin's are gonna be a top contender in the BL market. I am 100% sold on their current brushed speedo's, so i can't wait for the BL.
